MovieXpress is a movie recommendation engine being designed and developed by Informatics 1 students Tabris Chen, Tristan Lawrence and Sandru Anandaraj. This blog will update the progress of the group over the semester.

Informatics program
Informatics is the new name for the first year information technology (IT) course at Melbourne University. Students who wish to major in an IT field (encompassing Information Systems, Computer Science or Software Engineering) along with other interested students from different faculties undertake the Informatics course.
The first semester of the program "practical computing" covers an introduction to the Python programming language. Students are assessed through a team project, which encompasses knowledge in Python, CGI, HTML and visualisations.
